WPMU Website

Donncha Caoimh has a nice Wordpress site with various services and alot of nice information on Wordpress technical items and various other things.

A nice bit of Wordpress WPMU info as well.  Thank you Donncha for posting a follow-up to our Wordpress Support section.  You site has alot of good information that I think might be helpful to people, so I hope you don’t mind the little plug and links to your site.

I am working on a Wordpress Community site…do you know of any chronoligy of WPMU sites that is out there.  I say one of the first knowing there are probably many out there, but they are hard to find searching around.  (Maybe a little too much credit…but hey, that’s marketing for you *laugh*)  :)

My plans are to put most of the Wordpress related items on the coming WPcommunity site…I was definately impressed with the amount of info on your site…It might even be nice to place a directory of WPMU sites, or at least a link to a resource that already has one…

There were still quite a few bugs on the install/setup work that we did.  We tried multiple versions but found quite a few bugs in each…

It seems to be a great concept to me, but I can see the limited interest as there aren’t alot of business or blog models that would need this flexibility.  If you do need the ability for individual users to have blogs under one community…this is a fantastic way.

I do not have my own install for any of my owned business sites at this point, and may not at all, although I have thought of a few ideas of blogs that would be beneficial to people under this concept…so you never know!

Unfortunately, I have several projects on tap now, so it isn’t likely to be something that I will get to any time soon!

I fell in love with Wordpress when I saw the open communication and people willing to share their experiences in a community like fashion.  It is a cut-above regular webmastering to be involved in such a movement with such a powerful Open Source tool.
