VideoPond Linking Adtl. Info

There are several link exchange types being offered on VideoPond.com at present.  So many, that it gets very confusing…but there is alot of flexibility here for link partners.

THE LINKING SUGGESTION ON THE ADD PAGE IS JUST A SUGGESTION.  PLEASE FOLLOW THE BELOW GUIDELINES FOR BEST RESULTS.

HOME PAGE LINK

You link to the VideoPond.com homepage and pick whichever category your site falls in.  If it is a category precursored by the word Category, it will also be linked from the category page on the site (rather than just the resource directory from the homepage) (if your site fits in one of these, we would appreciate you following the below suggestion to link directly to the category (we will accept linking either to the home page or category page). 

MAIN WEBSITE CATEGORY

There are a number of static website category pages on the main site (outside of the clip log).  A link exchange request with the category starting with the word -category- will place the site in the resource directory with the particular resource category being linked from that category page.  (ie: if your site is a travel destination website, you would pick Category Travel Destination Websites from the dropdown and be linked both from the homepage in the resource directory and from the category site page).

We in turn ask that you alter the linking suggestion to point to the category page rather than the homepage and alter the linking text accordingly (we will accept either though).

CATEGORY CLIPLOG SECTION

This category in the resource directory links from the Video Clip Section.  Likewise, we ask that links and link text are pointed back towards the Video Clip Search:

PR4 SITES VIDEO CLIP PAGEWIDE

Sites with a PR4 or greater that link to us can have their links both in the resource directory and rotated at the top of each page through thousands of the clip log pages.  This is prime placement.  Run your link under Featured Link Sites.
