PHP Hack on Theme Now Allows ALT Text
After analyzing some of the code on VideoPond.com, it was found that a little hack to the MW1.1 Theme Can Allow for ALT text.
Tom F.
The theme by default will only allow for description from what I can see in the code for those posts with excerpts…which of course, my content doesn’t have…
I also have tried the plugin auto-meta generator on this site to no avail…to which I think is possibly due to multiple blogs being setup on one SQL database on stacked tables. The auto-meta builds a table from the SQL to generate stuff…and it had an error while building mine.
I stopped sharing SQLs for blogs at this point, but did this at the time because I only had an allotted amount of SQL databases at. Now I have unlimited SQLs.
So anyway, no keywords or descriptions for VideoPond.com yet…so I’m not sure how much weight a little ALT text will have without those other two elements (with Yahoo)…For Google, I don’t think it should matter as the titles are all good.
I’m working on a description hack at this point…and almost had it tonight…but decided to work on it another time after doing a little research on the necessity.
