Marc Conkle at Intel

Marc and Tom Ford have known each other dating back to Shaver Lake on the West Slope of the Southern Sierra Nevada Mountains in California as part of a small group of really great friends that have remained in contact.

Through several summers of working in the mountains, many parties, some great rock climbing and backpacking trips and even hanging out in Florida (Marc is insane…well…not really, but he did fly his light plane all the way out to Florida and back to California)…and then moved to Miami also…all that can be said is that those were some great times, and surely many more to come.

Marc is now working at Intel after graduating first from UC Davis and then on to the University of Michigan to complete the MBA program and also get a Master’s Degree in Industrial and Operations Engineering.

He has been moving around a bit finishing school and such with his wife Elizabeth and has just had a baby boy named Anderson Vartan Conkle.
