Recustomized page design to Don (phone numbers, etc.) and regenerated site

Each site page features custom meta titles, keywords, descriptions and alt text.

Individual property pages include in-site links to other properties. Pages feature overall details about condos within the development.

Added popular sites include for each index page for outgoing links on each index page

Added variated RSS feeds on each index page which open in new window. These are hard coded in the pre-production index template vs as an include for technical reasons.

Provided for expansion of condo/property name addition so that properties can be added later (agreement allows for 50 additional property names to be added).

Created custom index page with local news RSS parsed to html and on page video about the area.

Added include to index pages to allow for more properties once the main list reaches a certain number.

Linked to major real estate directories (4 hrs.)

Backed up entire site (files on server), purchase receipts and agreement correspondence and placed on USB drive (given to client).

Setup base Wordpress install. Still waiting on final install - looking into what to name the directory and the blog title.

All is installed on server and SQL database has been setup and configured in Wordpress.

Form integration completed previous weekend. Customized webforms for multiple pages and one main contact page for general requests. (Approx. 50 customized webforms built into pages).

Code added to administration files on site to allow for php includes. (previously administered upon site development).

Files administered to allow for “permalinks” or full titles on public Wordpress documents instead of default numerical system (better for search engines). System now “rewrites” titles automatically.

4 additional hours of linking. Finished off adding and auditing the larger real estate directories, many of which were dropped due to the Page Rank on the ultimate listing pages…

Went through 26 sites total. Also did research and attempted contact with company that has good reputation that administers link exchanges. Pending discussion with this company to learn their terms.

Received one link solicitation and currently reviewing.

4 additional hours of linking work and research. Analyzed many sites and came up with 16 allowing auto-addition to pages that will have the link sitting on decent PR (Page Rank) pages. These are pending addition for the following day (tommorow).

Found 35 websites with ability to link from their homepage, to which an email will be dispatched.

Also found a website development company with 49 links available…still researching…after quick check found the site link resting pages may be no PR, which would mean a hold off for this one…

The strategy for this project is to only accept PR links between home pages (for small Realtor sites), link to the major directories that offer link resting pages with PR (either from the homepage or from the resource directory if they allow it) and likewise with smaller sites offering auto addition.

The quality not quantity initiative will enable better link trades given the 0 PR of the site at present and this will elevate the PR while not diluting partner links.

Cumulative Work -

Removed RSS feeds originally planned to implement site feeds without many external links per meeting. WP site will be installed and moved towards enhanced content later, but WP will be used now for site items and some listing management to be utilized on this site and via a feed possibly on one other.

Edited and optimized video from business card type cd. cut out two separate videos that were of a group of three and merged two of them together and re-encoded with watermark. Video submitted to Google video (accepted) and also placed as embedded flash on home page of site replacing other sample regional video that was in place before. All work on this done by directive.

Met with Don, Sebastian and Steve in regards to plan suggestions for effective site submission to major directories and ultimately Google as site is new site.

Developed newletter plan and discussed featuring specific content for niche in directories.

Discussed for second time changing RSS plan to all local internal content.

Discussed moving Z57 hosted donhughesrealty.com site content over to SoftServe and agreed to implement move. Checked copyrights on site and was not able to define due to conflicting tags. Moved text of site and some images over and hosted at SS.

Working on keywords for PPC.
